WHEREAS CLUB 20 has long maintained a concern for the continuation of healthy agricultural production in western Colorado; and WHEREAS agricultural industry on the Western Slope is subject to higher input costs and due to higher freight costs result in lower net income received in the marketplace. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that CLUB 20 supports continued efforts to better provide our country’s farmers and ranchers with fair, competitive markets and a fair share of the consumers’ food dollar so that a healthy agricultural production sector is maintained in western Colorado and in the country as a whole.
