WHEREAS The State of Colorado has had a very successful program focusing primarily on keeping threatened species from being Federally listed under the Endangered Species Act; and WHEREAS The State of Colorado is providing more focus on the actual recovery and de‑listing of threatened and endangered species; and WHEREAS The State of Colorado is developing meaningful scientific data for threatened and endangered species sufficient to provide criteria for the recovery of said species. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that CLUB 20 supports the State of Colorado and the Federal Government working together to quantify and define recovery for the purposes of de‑listing threatened and endangered species. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that CLUB 20 supports one Statewide Recovery Program, to be developed with local input, encompassing all threatened and endangered species with adequate funding and resource allocation for ESA compliance.
